The challenge this week at
CAS-ual Fridays is embossing - dry, heat or a combination. I use embossing folders on virtually everything so while do have that type of embossing on this card, I also challenged myself to heat emboss.
This is a technique that I love, although I have to admit that it has more impact on a slightly less solid stamp. You clear emboss the stamp on patterned paper, then sponge the whole thing with a dark ink. The ink wipes right off the embossed parts leaving a view of the paper. This stamp doesn't have enough non-embossed parts for a huge impact, but I love the texture you can see in this close-up. It looks like a little charm.
